About Me

(Please see here for an official bio.)

DahliaI’m an Editor of mathematics by day and a YA/NA author and LGBTQReads overlord by night. I live in the New York City suburbs with my husband, who makes seriously good challah and mostly doesn’t mind when I yell at the TV, and my sons, who are afreakingdorable. My debut YA novel is called Behind the Scenes, and you might like it. My debut NA novel is called Last Will and Testament, and you might like that one too! I’ve also written a bunch more books and short stories; for info on them, click here.

My next project is an anthology called That Way Madness Lies, a collection of modern retellings of the works of William Shakespeare by an amazing group of authors, which releases from Flatiron Books on March 16, 2021, to be followed shortly thereafter by my next novel, Cool for the Summer, which will be published on May 11, 2021 by Wednesday Books! More often than not, I’m on Twitter as @MissDahlELama – come say hi!

  1. I tried garbanzo bean flour too, YUK! Coconut flour and rice flour are becoming some of my faves. Just found your blog and I’m excited to read “Vintage.” Fits right into my world! Thanks for featuring it and the author!

Ooh, I’ve never purposely tried a different kind of flour, but now I’m so curious how it’d be with one of those! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Nice to connect with you Dahlia. Positive vibes to you and yours.

  4. Loved an article I saw of yours =D following you! Very impressed with your views about creating diversity!

  5. Wow– very well rounded! Congrats on landing an agent and good luck with Behind the Scenes! And definitely let us know if you master that macaron.

Thanks so much! My last batch was actually reallllly close but my oven totally prohibits me from getting the color right because it browns EVERYTHING. But someday… and there WILL be pics when that happens, obviously.
